BenefitsTheyaVue Benefits: Eye Support for Men and Women
TheyaVue is made to give men and women extra support for eye and vision health.
The front of the bottle names antioxidants, lutein and zeaxanthin as its main parts.
To learn how lutein reaches the eye, read how TheyaVue works.
A structure and function claim is the strongest thing a dietary supplement is allowed to say. This one makes exactly one of them.
The TheyaVue claims the label actually makes
- An eye and vision support formula
- For men and women who want natural, extra support for their eye and vision health
- Antioxidants, lutein and zeaxanthin, named on the front of the bottle
That is the whole list, and it is short by the standards of this category. Two of the three describe the contents rather than an outcome, which is a conservative way to write a front panel.
The label's fine print is the standard one: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Reproducing that sentence accurately is part of the discipline of a page like this, and it is also why no claim on this website goes further than the bottle does.
The four claims on the seller's page that TheyaVue pages here will not repeat
The page that sells this product is a video presentation, and it says more than the bottle does. Each of the four below is named and refused rather than quietly left out, because a reader who has watched that video deserves to know which parts of it this desk will not stand behind.
A three-second finger trick that restores blurry eyesight to 20/20
Nothing in this formula changes the refractive state of an eye. Blur that a lens corrects is optics, not nutrition, and no supplement trial in this category has reported a gain in acuity on a letter chart. The FTC guidance on health products sets out what a claim of that shape would have to be supported by.
Clearing up eyesight and bringing back night vision
Night vision in particular has been tested and did not survive testing. A systematic review of twelve placebo-controlled trials of bilberry anthocyanosides found the four most recent randomised trials all negative.
A blend of twenty-four antioxidants that is scientifically proven
Twenty-four names is accurate and matches the panel. Scientifically proven is not: the finished product has not been trialled, and proven is not a word that applies to a formula nobody has tested as a formula.
Never having had any reports of side effects
Unverifiable, and not a claim any desk should repeat. Two capsules carry 32 mg of zinc and 800 mcg of biotin, and both have documented consequences worth knowing. The side effects page sets them out.
What the research supports, for the ingredients TheyaVue leads on
| Outcome | Measured how | In whom | What was used |
|---|---|---|---|
| Macular pigment density | Heterochromatic flicker photometry | Healthy adults, and offspring of people with macular degeneration | 7.4 to 27 mg a day of total macular carotenoids for twelve weeks |
| Contrast sensitivity | Forced-choice testing at 8 cycles per degree | 59 healthy 18 to 25 year olds | 12 or 24 mg a day of total macular carotenoids for a year |
| Glare disability and photostress recovery | Veiling luminance, and recovery time after a xenon flash | 115 young healthy adults | Lutein 10 mg and zeaxanthin 2 mg a day for a year |
| Visual processing speed | Temporal contrast sensitivity | 69 young healthy adults | Lutein and zeaxanthin for four months |
| Ciliary muscle tone after screen work | High-frequency component of accommodative microfluctuation | 109 adults aged 20 to 60 | 240 mg a day of standardised bilberry extract for twelve weeks |
| Screen-induced eye fatigue | Critical flicker fusion and near point of accommodation | 80 office workers aged 20 to 40 | 480 mg a day of bilberry extract for eight weeks |
Every row is an outcome a trial actually measured. None of them is visual acuity, and none of these trials used this product.
That table is the benefit list with the evidence attached. It is narrower than the advertising and more specific, and it names amounts this label does not state for the ingredients concerned. Read it as what the category can do at known amounts rather than as what this bottle will do.

TheyaVue does what the label says, not what the video says
An eye and vision support formula with twenty-four named ingredients, fourteen of them with figures. Contrast, glare recovery and screen fatigue are what the research in this category actually measures.
